The British College of Aesthetic Medicine (BCAM)

|

The British College of Aesthetic Medicine (BCAM) is a rapidly modernising professional association operating at the leading edge of aesthetic medicine, which is one of the most exciting and rapidly growing areas of healthcare.

The Brief

In 2020, BCAM had high ambition for its future. This included an attractive, engaging, value-adding digital presence, which was key to BCAM’s success in the clinician-to-clinician sector as well as in its new charitable remit of educating the public in their aesthetic choices.

In addition, 2020 was BCAM’s 20th anniversary: the new website had to reflect the deep heritage of the society, and the impact BCAM has had in the specialism over the years. The associated Membership Management System and CRM also needed to deliver an actionable self-serve model ensuring members are both managed in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst also experiencing a more engaging and enjoyable online experience.

HOW WE HELPED

As a major voice in the industry, it was critical to highlight the fact that 2020 was BCAM’s 20-year anniversary.

We understood that the project had three distinct objectives:

  1. Revitalizing BCAM’s branding as part of a redesign and modernization process
  2. Driving up member engagement in both the public and members web sites by using personalized, relevant dynamic content which helps add-value to the member proposition and therefore grows BCAM.
  3. We committed to supporting the BCAM Members via a “Self-Serve” membership model, automating many of the routine membership management tasks through an interactive platform.

The Outcome

Our close working partnership with BCAM resulted in a website that fully supports the organization, and that is prepared for rapid growth. It received excellent feedback from both casual and professional users.
